TiviMate works fine on its base free tier, but a few interface conveniences sit behind the optional Premium unlock (a one-time purchase inside the app, unrelated to your IPTV subscription). Free mode limits you to a single playlist profile and shows a startup ad; Premium adds multiple profiles, custom channel numbering, a cloud backup for your settings, and support for multiple EPG sources merged into one guide.
None of this affects whether your channels play — that depends entirely on your IPTV subscription and playlist URL, not on the TiviMate tier. If you're only ever going to load one playlist on one device, the free version covers everything you need. The upgrade mostly pays off if you manage several devices or profiles and want your setup to sync automatically instead of rebuilding it by hand each time.
TiviMate's grid guide is one of its main advantages over a plain channel list, but it doesn't populate on its own. Your provider gives you a separate EPG URL (usually an XMLTV link) in addition to your playlist URL — both go in during setup, under separate fields. If you only enter the playlist link, you'll get channels with no program titles, times, or descriptions.
Once loaded, the guide refreshes automatically in the background, so you shouldn't need to re-add it after the first setup.

That depends on your subscription's connection limit, not on TiviMate. TiviMate itself doesn't restrict how many devices you install it on, but your IPTV service allows a set number of simultaneous streams — check your plan details for that number before trying to watch on two TVs at once.
This is almost always a URL issue rather than an account issue: an extra space from copy-pasting, a URL that's expired or was regenerated, or a typo in the address. Re-copy the exact playlist URL from your account and re-enter it fresh rather than editing the existing entry.
TiviMate can display a catch-up/replay option in the guide, but only if your IPTV provider's playlist includes that data — it's a feature of the stream source, not something TiviMate adds on its own. If catch-up isn't showing for a channel, it means that specific channel isn't flagged for it in the playlist.
When the issue is limited to specific channels rather than everything, it's typically a stream encoding mismatch rather than your network. Some channels are encoded with audio or video codecs your device's hardware decoder doesn't handle as smoothly, which shows up as no audio, stutter, or artifacting on just those channels while others play cleanly.
